Develon and Leica Geosystems have developed a new 3D machine control solution for the service market, specifically for the DX225LC-7X intelligent crawler excavator. This is the Leica MC1 3D, created specifically for integration with this equipment.

New solution emerges from a pioneering collaboration

The DX225LC-7X Develon excavator is equipped as standard with fully electro-hydraulic (FEH) technology and an integrated 2D machine guidance and control system. To further increase this efficiency, Develon now offers, as a retrofit, the Leica MC1 3D machine guidance system, specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with Develon‘s 2D sensors and calibrations in the DX225LC-7X.

Smart Excavation

The Leica MC1 machine control system is designed to help the operator achieve the desired result with precision. Real-time project information and removal/fill indications are displayed on the Leica MCP80 control panel in the cab, allowing operators to excavate the reference model efficiently. The solution guarantees greater accuracy and operator satisfaction, as well as greater productivity and sustainability.
